I say [name]Mare[/name]-a-gold, but I think any of them are correct.
Mare (as in the horse) - ih (was in ick) - gold (as in the word gold)

apparently some say it as Mar-ee-gold, but I have never heard that.

I agree with the others. [name]MARE[/name]-ih-gold. The two pronunciations you listed would be [name]MARE[/name]-ee-gold or [name]MAR[/name]-ah-gold, respectively, which are different to me.
I say it like [name]Mare[/name] uh gold but the mare part has a softer A than if I were saying mare (the horse)…
My one friend whose originally from [name]Tennessee[/name] says [name]Mare[/name]-ee-gold like [name]Mary[/name] (the name) gold.
I am sooo close to settling on [name]Marigold[/name]…but does this have pronunciation problems?
I think it really depends on where you live. I grew up in the midwest and most will say it [name]Mare[/name]-ih-gold (like the flower), which dictionary.com says is the “correct” pn.
However, since I have family in the southish areas, I can see how they would say [name]Mar[/name]-ee-gold. I would just ask people what they think of the flowers, [name]Marigold[/name], and see how they pronounce it so you know the common way in your area.
As a speech-language expert of sorts, I’d like to chime in and say that the differences in ‘ih’ vs. ‘uh’ are extremely slight. The middle syllable of [name]Marigold[/name] is the least stressed, as well as a vowel. A lot of times, that’s going to be lazily said as ‘uh’ - even if people intend to say ‘ih.’ (Especially in certain parts of the country.) I believe the only issue you may have is if someone does indeed pronounce it [name]Mary[/name]-gold. In that case, a gentle correction can work wonders. 
I pronounce it [name]Mare[/name]-ih-gold… I never knew there were so many different ways to say it!

Another SLP here: also a southerner (but a frequent transplant), I say [name]Mary[/name]-gold sometimes and [name]Mare[/name]-ih-gold sometimes. [name]Mary[/name]-gold more often. I agree the [name]Mare[/name]-ih-gold/[name]Mare[/name]-uh-gold difference is slight.
I say [name]Mare[/name]-ih-gold or [name]Mare[/name]-uh-gold, with a schwa sound and I’m not sure I even really hear the difference between ih and uh very much. I’m from [name]Philadelphia[/name], btw.

I actually don’t mind any of these pronunciations. I just wonder if it would be annoying to have a really unique name that gets said one way at home, maybe another way at school.

I live in the south where these flowers are popular and I say mare-uh-gold. Id probably be annoyed if I heard it said “mary-gold”. I’ve considered this name to honor my great-grandma who raised my dad. Her name was [name]Goldie[/name].
