How do you see these 3 sisters?

what comes to mind with these names? are they good sib names?

[name]Leatrice/name
[name]Muriel[/name]
[name]Viviette[/name]

I guess it would depend upon the story line. I think that writers who also happen to be name lovers;) have to be careful with what they name characters, in order to avoid unbelievable names, and therefore unbelievable characters.

They sound made up (and I totally agree with [name]Chandler[/name] [name]Muriel[/name] [name]Bing[/name]. That’s what I first thought of. THE M STANDS FOR [name]MURIEL[/name]!!!). So if that’s what you’re going for, great! If not… Maybe go a different route.

Maybe it would help to explain the story more. I assume this is set in the like the 1920’s or something. In real life, I would despise these names (although I knew the most old wonderful woman named [name]Muriel[/name]. [name]Born[/name] 1901. Died 2000.)
Anyway tough crowd especially as there are people who try to make [name]Ethel[/name] happen. (Shudders)
[name]Leatrice[/name] is not my favorite. I would like [name]Lettitia[/name] more with the nickname [name]Letty[/name]. For some reason I picturing British people a little like Downton [name]Abbey[/name] but not entirely. She seems spunky like a cross between Lady [name]Mary[/name] and Lady [name]Sibyl[/name], proud a little snobby, but civic minded.
[name]Muriel[/name] the most serious of the bunch a nerd heroine.
[name]Viviette[/name] Lively party girl who’s kind of ditz.

None of these sound current, so be warned on that. I like the last two much better than the first.

Good [name]Luck[/name]!

As [name]Emily[/name] said, it would help a lot if we knew the time period, genre, etc., of these women, but on a purely outside perspective, here are my opinions:

[name]Leatrice[/name]: Visually, it looks like Lettuce, and sound-wise, it’s not bad. It’s very pretty, actually, with the soft sound and outlet to nickname [name]Lea[/name]. Unless, however, you’re writing either a fantasy or a dystopian, the name is entirely implausible. The image it conjures up is of an ethereal queen dressed in silks and crinolines, probably a bit snobby.

[name]Muriel[/name]: A crotchety older woman, or if she’s younger, has thick glasses and buck-teeth. She wears wool sweaters in putrid colors and possibly chain-smokes. An entirely repulsive human-being.

[name]Viviette[/name]: French stripper (kidding). [name]Viviette[/name] in modern times is a ditzy, rich, blonde, in fantasy/dystopia a shy but sweet low-class girl, maybe a servant or a maid.

[name]Leatrice[/name], like [name]Beatrice[/name]? It looks a bit like a misspelling, but I like it nonetheless.

[name]Muriel[/name] is either [name]Ron[/name] Weasley’s Aunt [name]Muriel[/name] or [name]Chandler[/name]'s middle name.

[name]Viviette[/name] looks like a odd combination of [name]Vivienne[/name] and [name]Yvette[/name]. I don’t know it I like it or not.

I just don’t like [name]Muriel[/name], unless it’s for an old lady.
If it’s fantasy or in the future or something similar, [name]Leatrice[/name] and [name]Viviette[/name] are perfect and work well together.
If it’s set today, [name]Leatrice[/name] and [name]Viviette[/name] seem like a strange misspelling combination of different names.

they all make me think of old ladies knitting while sitting on large armchairs, except [name]Viviette[/name]. She sounds like a retired lap dancer.

[name]Little[/name] old ladies who go to flea markets together.
