How does this sound?

Hey. [name_m]How[/name_m] does the name [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] “[name_f]Milly[/name_f]” sound as a sister to [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Katharine[/name_f] “[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]”?

Thank you!!

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Katharine[/name_f] are great together!!
However, all though lovely I personally find [name_f]Milly[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] too close, but it is absolutely usable! They do sound cute together

Thank you! Not sure if we’ll be using [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] just wanted to ask. Right now my fiancé and I are loving [name_f]Adalynn[/name_f]. But I like cute nicknames. And I like IE ending sound of nicknames and don’t know other cute nicknames like that for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]

Any other opinions?

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] “[name_f]Milly[/name_f]” works perfectly, imo!

Is [name_f]Milly[/name_f] to close to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]?? They are only nicknames. But I like cutesy nicknames that en in Eee sound

I think [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] (and [name_f]Milly[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]) make a great sibling set. [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] “[name_f]Milly[/name_f]” and [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] “[name_f]Ellie[/name_f]” would also make a great set. [name_f]Milly[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] make a spunky, vintage, friendly sister set.

What a beautiful sibset!! I think the nickname are to similar though, some nickname suggestions…
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] - [name_f]Lia[/name_f], [name_f]Ana[/name_f], [name_u]Elia[/name_u], [name_f]Elle[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] - [name_f]Ama[/name_f], [name_f]Mellie[/name_f]

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is a very, very common on option in the UK so I wouldn’t pick it all and personally, it’s just not my style. Very predictable!

[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] are ok together and the nicknames do work together - [name_f]Milly[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].

[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] are lovely together. [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Millie[/name_f] are similar, but I wouldnt say too close. You’ve always got the full name to clarify anyway.
Assuming [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] is already stick with the nickname [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], some other options for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], if the similarity bothers you, are [name_f]Amy[/name_f], [name_f]Mimi[/name_f] and [name_f]Leah[/name_f]

Thanks everyone!! I’m really liking it a lot these days. [name_m]Just[/name_m] gotta see what my fiancé says!

I really like [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]. If you wanted to tweak it just a bit, I suggest [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. Also,
I had an Aunt [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] who went by [name_f]Molly[/name_f].

The names are lovely. I would tend to worry less if the nn’s are similar, as long as the formal names are distinctive. I think [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] works for you!

I think [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is very cute. But I’m not a fan of [name_f]Millie[/name_f].

Thanks guys! What nicknames do you guys like for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]?? I have a cousin named [name_f]Molly[/name_f] so I can’t use that one

[name_f]Eliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] are great names for sisters! [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is a nice name but it sounds a little repetitive to me. Maybe a longer middle name?
[name_u]Mel[/name_u], [name_f]Lia[/name_f]/[name_f]Leah[/name_f], [name_f]Amy[/name_f], [name_f]Mia[/name_f], [name_f]Mimi[/name_f], Ames, [name_f]Amma[/name_f] and [name_f]Mila[/name_f] came to my mind as nicknames for [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].

I would nickname [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Amy[/name_f], but your other choice, [name_f]Adalynn[/name_f] is a much prettier name.
[name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Addy[/name_f] are cute sister nicknames.

[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is a lovely combination, however I think it’s more sweet and simple than [name_f]Eliana[/name_f] [name_f]Katharine[/name_f], which has a more classic, formal sound. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them as sibling names, they’re just not exactly the same style to me.
