[name]Hi[/name]! I’m expecting my third child in [name]June[/name]. A little girl - sister to [name]Vincent[/name] nn [name]Vinnie[/name]/[name]Vince[/name] and [name]Lila[/name]. My husband and I are really leaning towards [name]Elena[/name] nn [name]Ellie[/name] but it’s a bit hard to say with [name]Lila[/name]. [name]IMO[/name], three names are hard to say together anyway so mostly I’ll be yelling “Kids!” or “Girls!”
Should we throw this name out because it’s not the best fit with the other two names?
We’re also considering:
[name]Margaret[/name] nn [name]Maggie[/name]
[name]Brooke[/name]
[name]Wednesday[/name] (more my husband’s choice. I’m a closet fan but not sure if I’d pick it for my own child…)
I actually don’t think it’s too hard to say with [name]Vincent[/name] and [name]Lila[/name]. [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name]/[name]Ellie[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] - my tongue doesn’t get too twisted even if I say it over and over. Maybe [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Elena[/name] is a little tricky, but even [name]Elena[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] is fine for me. I say, if this is you and DH’s favorite, go for it. I definitely don’t think it’s a big enough deal to forego the name.
PS - I’m a secret fan of the day/month names too and I wish I had the courage - a little [name]January[/name] or [name]Tuesday[/name] would be so wonderful!
I don’t think it’s likely that you’ll always say “girls” or “kids” particulary when they’re ignoring you. With that said I don’t think [name]Ellie[/name] and [name]Lila[/name] are too hard to manage together. I think siblings with the same beginning sound are much more difficult to rattle off and people do that all the time.
I think [name]Elena[/name] goes well with the other kids, and it’s a great name! [name]Taylor[/name] and [name]Tyler[/name] are consistently on the most popular names for twins list- [name]Lila[/name] and [name]Ellie[/name]/[name]Elena[/name] certainly aren’t that bad!
