[name_f]My[/name_f] uh I live in [name_u]New[/name_u] Mexico
I’m from the US and I’d pronounce [name_f]Maya[/name_f] and [name_f]Maia[/name_f] as my-uh. I’ve never seen [name_f]Maja[/name_f] before, but my guess would have been mah-hah (like Baja).

I can’t understand the difference between mah-ya and my-a, but one of the two probably!

I live in [name_f]Canada[/name_f] and would say MY-uh for all of them. The j is trippy for me though even though I know how to speak a little bit of the nordic/germanic languages so I know its y sound. [name_f]Maya[/name_f] looks like Ma-ya, both being the same sound as if you were saying AH from being scared.
