[name]How[/name] do you pronounce [name]Talia[/name]?
[name]Every[/name] [name]Talia[/name] I’ve met pronounces it TAAH-leah.
I have a friend named [name]Talia[/name] and it is said tuh-lee-uh.
I pronounce it [name]TAHL[/name]-ee-uh, though I know one that says her name more with two syllables ([name]TAHL[/name]-ya).
For me it’s between [name]Tahl[/name]-ee-a and [name]Tahl[/name]-ya. I can imagine the first syllable rhyming with pal, too, quite plausibly.
Thanks, guys. I have heard the two-syllable and three-syllable pronunciations and was wondering which one was more popular. What if the spelling were changed to [name]Talya[/name]? Would you be more likely to pronounce it [name]TAHL[/name]-ya?
I think it’s an uncommon enough name that you can choose the prn that you prefer and it will stick. I really like [name]Talia[/name] (and [name]Thalia[/name], too)! Great name!
I think of [name]Talia[/name] as “tah-leah”
I think [name]Talya[/name] does could be pronounced “[name]Tahl[/name]-ya” but you might also get “[name]TAL[/name]-yuh” - depending on the accent and emphisis which might not be what you are after, or might not
