How Lincoln sound with my surname?

My wife and I are in [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] with [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] as a first name nn. [name_m]Linc[/name_m] :stuck_out_tongue: (she was due yesterday, hasn’t gone into labor yet) however we are wondering if it sounds “ok” with [name_m]Pearson[/name_m] as our last name ([name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] “[name_m]Linc[/name_m]” [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Pearson[/name_m])? I don’t think it sounds too bad but a few people have told us to pick a different name? Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Personally I’m not over-keen on names that rhyme, but it’s up to you. If you love the name and it’s definitely ‘the one’ then I think you should use it regardless. I love [name_m]Linc[/name_m] as a NN

[name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Pearson[/name_m] is fine, especially if you’re calling him [name_m]Linc[/name_m] some of the time. [name_m]Even[/name_m] though they do all end in “N” and [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] and [name_m]Pearson[/name_m] are 2 syllables, it’s really not too bad. They really don’t share too many sounds except for the "N"s. You’re clearly in love with the name [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m], so you should most definitely use it.

It doesn’t have the smoothest flow, but if you really like the name [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] best I would use it anyway, especially if he’ll be called [name_m]Linc[/name_m] a lot.

I agree, if you live the name, and u don’t have a problem with the way it sounds, definitely go for it. I personally don’t think it sounds that bad.

I don’t think it sounds bad at all.

I think [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Pearson[/name_m] is fine. In all honesty, how often is your first name and last name said together all at once? [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] “[name_m]Linc[/name_m]” is super cute and I think you should go for it!

I think it sounds fine. I like [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m], too. If it’s your favorite, then I’d say that you should definitely choose [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]
