How Long Does it Take For the New List to Come In?

I was really interested in the most popular baby names of 2011 list and was wondering, when does the new year’s list come in? When could I be expecting to see the 2012 list? Obviously these things take lots of time so I’m not expecting it very soon, but I was just wondering if any people who have been on Nameberry a while had an estimate.

In the US, the official SSA list for 2012 will be released on Mothers’ [name]Day[/name] 2013.

As PP said, it’s usually on or around mother’s day (early [name]May[/name]). Though I think last year it was held off until [name]Monday[/name] if I remember correctly because they had some spot on like the Today show? And they only released #1? Maybe I’m crazy but I think that’s what happened last year.

I think you’re correct. I remember knowing the top 1, maybe top 5, names last year and itching for ages to find out the rest of the list.
