[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
I am wanting to give my daughter two middle names but her first name is set in stone as [name_f]Lucie[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f]. My partner want to use [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] after family members.
So her name would be [name_f]Lucie[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is the surname.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think we need to decide on one or the other and give her one middle name? Or can we get away with giving her two?
Thanks all.
I think you can have two middles if you want to. I wouldn’t but that’s just a personal preference. Given your surname is already floral I would choose [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] over [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Lucie[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is lovely!
Good luck with your decision
It looks a bit cramped with the two middle names. I’d go for [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f].
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] is such a lovely last name to have! It seems drawn out to have two middle names with a hyphenated first name… my preference is for one middle name. I’m loving [name_f]Violet[/name_f] as a middle name! Depending on how you pronounce [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], pairing it with [name_f]Mae[/name_f] might exaggerate the long “a” sound.
Use as many as the law allows you to.
Honestly, alot of people dont introduce themselves by their entire name.
I could have six, but people will never know because I don’t mention mine ever.
