How many names do you love, and how many would you use?

As far as love love goes, a solid seven for boys and about the same for girls not entirely sure on the girls, a couple are on the line . For the boys, I would use any of the seven; for the girls Iā€™d definitely use five but the other two are strong ā€œmaybesā€ most of the time.

I have well over a couple thousand names on my list though, and most of those I would use or are strong contenders for the middle spot.

I havenā€™t counted my names. I really should put them into Excel, but couple hundred for sure. :smile: I honestly thought I have around 20 loveloveloves for both boys and girls, but then I had a long flight and I organised all my messy lists. I realised I have only around 4-5 loves for boys and girls if I eliminate all names that have something that made me doubtful (doesnā€™t sound good in my language; rhymes with something etc). I wasnā€™t even overly excited about those 4-5 that day, so yeahā€¦ I was quite surprised how classical-royalcore my short list was

I have about ten of each for names I love, closer to seven or so. [name_f]My[/name_f] large list is over two hundred, all of which I would use for middles (or firsts, should the need arise). From my shortlist, I would use all for the girls, with two or three strong maybes for the boys.

I love about ten, enough to make 3-name combos for the max number of children Iā€™m likely to have!

But I have a longer list of about 30-50 per gender that I would use. I just wonā€™t have the kids to do so :sweat_smile:

Girls - Like too many, only love around 3-5 (probably would only use a max of 3 though)
Boys - Donā€™t like enough, only love probably a maximum of 2

I think seven? Iā€™d use all of them, I think.

On my long, long list: 672 names :person_shrugging:

Maybe fifteen on my shorter list :slight_smile:

I love the names in my UC, and I would use any of them! Thatā€™s 5 each, but I can count an additional 4 girl names that I could see myself using (which are [name_f]Louisa[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_f]Joy[/name_f], and [name_f]Anya[/name_f] for anyone wondering.)

Iā€™d say I love about roughly 20 girl names, but would only use 5. For boys, I love 14, but only would actually use 4

I can think of twelve names I love. [name_m]Five[/name_m] of them are usable for me, and one I would use in a heartbeat if it worked better where I live. Another is my own name that I chose for myself!

girls: i love about 15, but some of those are gps or i would only use in the middle, so i would use 11 or 12. my ā€˜longlistā€™ has 36 but if i were to make an actual list of every name i liked, iā€™m sure it would be a couple hundred!

boys: i love maybe 7 or 8, and would use all of them. my ā€˜longlistā€™ has 19 but every name i liked would be about 100 or so?

I love about 30 girls names. Most of those I would consider using. Boys I am only just looking into, but I would say there are about 12 I would consider using. I think I must make a chart in Excel too!
