I really love the name [name]Noah[/name], but I’m concerned about the popularity of it. [name]How[/name] many do you know? I personally don’t know anyone named [name]Noah[/name]. Also, what are your overall opinions on the name?
Personally, I don’t know any. However, I do know that someone on a parenting/name forum I frequent has a little boy named [name]Noah[/name], and a girl I graduated high school with has a little boy named [name]Noah[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Blake[/name]. He lives pretty much on the opposite end of the country from me, though, so I don’t really count him as an acquaintance, haha. I have never met him or his father.
It must be relatively popular, though, since it is on the SSA top 10…
Outside of Hebrew school, I only know one, a friend’s grandson who is just about a year old. Within Hebrew school, about one every other grade, both down here in [name]Florida[/name] and back in Vancouver. I did know one Israeli female student named [name]Noa[/name]. I’m willing to bet it’s less popular outside of synagogues than many people realise.
Maybe depends on where you live. In my state, [name]Noah[/name] was the number 1 name in 2010 social security list. And I can see that as holding true, since every daycare/preschool class my son [name]Noah[/name] has been in, there’s always another [name]Noah[/name] in his class. That being said, I still love his name and do not regret picking it!
I would say that I know around 3, I am not exactly sure but it is under 5 for sure. I don’t think it is all that popular. [name]Ethan[/name] is listed at number 2 but I don’t know any. Last year in my class though I had two boys named [name]Ganesh[/name], so I don’t think popularity can really be avoided in any name that you choose.
I no none Its a good name.
I just know one, but he’s around 23.
I know a 1 year old [name]Noah[/name], he is gorgeous!
I only know one, I think he’s about 5
Our next door neighbor boy (7yo) is a [name]Noah[/name]. Dd has another [name]Noah[/name] in her kindergarten class. I like the name, too, but it definitely feels popular around here. It changes so much by geography.
I know 3 adult Noahs but no little Noahs.
[name]One[/name] adult, two babies.
I know four Noahs, aged 22, 14, 3 and newborn.
I also have a son named [name]Noah[/name] who is 9 and I have only come across one other [name]Noah[/name].
Its a common name where I am. I personally know 4 little Noahs all 8 and under. But, I wouldnt put it the same category as [name]Aiden[/name], common but, not overused [name]IMO[/name]
I only know of one [name]Noah[/name]. He is probably 6 years old now.
I have a cousin named [name]Noah[/name]. He is about three.
I know one boy named [name]Noah[/name]. It is popular and I think it suits a beachy kind of kid.
I know one [name]Noah[/name], he’s 9 or 10 now. It’s a wonderful name!
I know three. I personally am not a big fan, but that’s because of personal associations not really the name itself. I do think it’s pretty hard to disassociate from the bible though. That might be a positive for you though. I just prefer names that don’t have a well-known namesake as I find it puts a lot of pressure and expectation on a child.
