[name_u]Four[/name_u] for my dad, none for my mom
None, but I’ve met people my age named like my uncle
I have a cousin named like your mom, I always thought it was a beautiful name
She’s like 40 now though so it might be the same age group
of the four schools that I went to, there were 3 girls with my mum’s name in the same year and one boy with the same name as my dad (although that wasn’t this boy’s “real” name, rather the anglicised version)

None, though I did know of a boy with my dad’s name who went to a different school
None but like a couple people, ive met a couple with my dads name of his age, and one of my age
None
I know of at least one girl with my mom’s name (Margaret, though she went by Ryan)
At least a handful of kids had my dad’s name (Robert, including my brother) but none of them went by [name_m]Bob[/name_m] like him
None. Butbutbut I recently found out that my partner’s mother’s first name is the same as my mother’s! Just my mother’s first name starts with ‘K’ and his mother’s starts with ‘G’! What the heck!
His aunt’s name is also suuuper similar to my aunt’s name, both first and the middle. Everybody calls his mother by her middle and everybody calls my mother by her middle. But it baffles me that he never thought to tell me?! My mother’s first name is very rare, so it’s especially crazy!
1 with my mother’s name, [name_f]Alison[/name_f], though with a different spelling. None with my dad’s name, though 3 Michaels, which his name is mixed up with constantly!
For my dad, 1 in elementary, then later on a 2nd in High School.
For my mom, another 2, both I met in High School, but they used a variation of my mom’s name. (Like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] instead of Lucinda)
Shockingly none.
3 that I can remember for my dad (but with different nicknames)
One for my mum (and I was surprised when I first heard her name!), none for my dad. They both have very typical names for the time they were born in.
There was always a [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] or two in my class - it was a pretty popular name for the mid-90s. Can’t think of ever meeting a [name_u]Scott[/name_u], though.
[name_f]My[/name_f] mom’s name was super popular when she was born (she was one of three in her kindergarten class) but I’ve never met anyone my age with her name.
[name_f]My[/name_f] dad’s name is a pretty popular, timeless biblical name, so I’m sure there were a couple at my school, but then again it was a pretty small school, and I don’t remember any. I’ve definitely met people my age with his name, though.
In elementary, one with my mom’s name and one with my dad’s
In high school, one with my dad’s name!
