How many “s”’s are too many?

We recently found out our 3rd is a boy, and we’re having such a hard time with names.
One of my favourites is [name_m]Silas[/name_m], but our last name is Simmonds… too much?

Another top for me is [name_m]Killian[/name_m], and as much as I love it, having a hard time getting over the first syllable, Kill.

Thoughts on the two names?

I don’t think [name_m]Silas[/name_m] would work with your last name, it’s a bit of a tongue twister.

[name_m]Killian[/name_m] is cool but it has alliteration with the beginning part of your last name.

What about [name_m]Levi[/name_m]? I think it fits with your style.

You could spell [name_m]Killian[/name_m] as [name_m]Cillian[/name_m]?
But I think [name_m]Silas[/name_m] works, I like it with the last name!

I agree that [name_m]Silas[/name_m] Simmonds is a bit of a tongue twister. [name_m]Killian[/name_m] on the other hand is great! If it helps to take away the ”Kill” image, there’s always the original Irish spelling, [name_m]Cillian[/name_m], as well. [name_m]Cillian[/name_m] Simmonds sounds wonderful to me!

I like [name_m]Killian[/name_m] a lot!! [name_m]Cillian[/name_m], [name_m]Kian[/name_m] or [name_u]Keegan[/name_u] could be alternatives without the ‘kill’ bit.
[name_m]Linus[/name_m], [name_m]Lyall[/name_m], [name_m]Saul[/name_m], [name_u]Kai[/name_u] and [name_u]Elias[/name_u] couls be alternative to [name_m]Silas[/name_m]?

I like [name_m]Silas[/name_m] Simmonds. I also love the suggestion of [name_m]Kian[/name_m], which is super cute, but I think would suit any sort of boy/man

[name_m]Silas[/name_m] & [name_m]Killian[/name_m] are both great names. I do kind of think that [name_m]Silas[/name_m] Simmonds is too much. [name_m]Just[/name_m] because the ‘s’ at the end of [name_m]Silas[/name_m] runs into the ‘s’ at the beginning of Simmonds.

As for [name_m]Killian[/name_m], I agree w/what others said. [name_m]Cillian[/name_m] looks much nicer.

I think [name_m]Silas[/name_m] Simmonds works - alliteration names are cute!

I like [name_m]Killian[/name_m] too, but would opt for the spelling [name_m]Cillian[/name_m] due to the Kill prefix.
