It’s listed as #18 but I don’t feel like I hear it very often—perhaps it’s a regional difference? I don’t mind if a name is familiar, but I wonder if other people feel like [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] is everywhere these days.
I know a grand total of zero people named [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
I know three little boys named [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. Could be regional - I live in a large Canadian city.
I don’t know anyone under 30 called [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. I am from [name_m]New[/name_m] Zealand though. It’s a gorgeous name and I strongly encourage you to use it!! <3
I don’t know anyone named [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. Have only heard in books, movies, tv.
I’m in Australia where it’s quite popular but I only know a few. At the school I used to teach at though there were quite a few. Probably a couple per year group. It’s such a fantastic name, though. I love it!
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
I live in St. [name_m]Louis[/name_m], & I don’t know any Sebastians here. I can’t remember ever even hearing it at the playground or anything. I know one [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] who is 13 & lives in [name_u]California[/name_u]. It must be regional.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
I’ve met one, but i wouldn’t say I’ve been overrun with Sebastians
I’ve only known of one- a teenager. I live in the Midwest US. I think it’s a great name.
Only know of one baby born this year called [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. Its not that popular where I am in the UK. [name_m]Seb[/name_m] is such a cute nickname too!
I’m from [name_f]Canada[/name_f] and I know one little boy, born in the last year, named [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. Most of my friends have girls. Repeat names I have heard so far are [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] - (they don’t know each other).
I’m in the UK and it’s pretty up there in the rankings. I’ve met three [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]’s in my life. One baby, one in his early twenties and one in his thirties.
It depends on where you live for sure. I had never heard of anyone with the name, but my coworker has a school aged son with the name and she said that he sometimes had other kids in his class with the name. It is also more popular in the Hispanic community. I live in [name_u]California[/name_u]. If you live in the US, you can also look at the top 100 for your state. I find that helpful because there are definitely names that are quite popular in my state that are much less popular nationally.
I don’t know any.
In my state it is #3 and I know quite a few little dudes named [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. There is one in each of my elementary-aged kid’s classes.
I live in [name_f]Canada[/name_f] in a big city, and it’s a pretty popular name. Seems like #18 is accurate. I know several kids named [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]…great name!
I have two Sebastians in class this year, but I never have had any before!
I know of one boy and one cat, lol. It’s a great name!
I don’t personally know any, but I know of a handful under age 10 for the most part.
I know of a couple of <10 year olds named Sebastian in the US (opposite ends of the country) and one in Australia. Otherwise, all the other Sebastians I know of are adults.
