How’s the flow, initials dealbreaker or nbd

We finally agree on a full name for our baby girl!! What do you all think of Hazel Adelaide? I love the way it sounds and that the 3 syllable middle breaks up the 2 syllable first and last names.

Speaking of flow- I have read that repeating sounds are somewhat controversial, and would like some feedback on this name in particular. Our last name starts with “Os” like Osborne but has a different ending. So there isn’t an actual “z” in the last name but rather a “z” sound. We like this, but wondering if it sounds clunky to others’ ears. “Hazel Oz___”.

That brings me to my last hesitation, initials. Her first and last initial would be H.O. What do you think are the chances she will be picked on for this in school? Is it practical to use 3 initials vs. 2? (H.A.O.)

We just want our sweet girl to have a name that she likes and doesn’t make her life difficult! TIA for any and all input!! (Bonus points for potential future sibling names)

I love [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] :purple_heart:

And I see each of your concerns in regards to I tials, repeating sounds… but honestly I wouldn’t see any of them as a dealbreaker. [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] “Oz” works. And HO if anything makes me think of [name_f]Santa[/name_f] Clause…. I never really think initials of two letters are that big of a deal it’s the three letter combos that should be looked at but there’s nothi be wro mg with HAO to my knowledge so I say if you love the name go for it

[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] would work perfect😍

Gorgeous! Gorgeous flow and really tame initials. I have no idea how those would be made fun of. I love this name!!

hazel adelaide is so sweet! i don’t think that the repeating ‘z’ sound is an issue - i quite like it. i don’t think the initials are an issue either - i haven’t (personally) heard of anyone getting picked on by their initials.

[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is gorgeous and I think [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_m]Osbourne[/name_m] sounds fine!! As for initials, i feel like they’re so rarely actually used it will be fine

It’s a lovely name, but I don’t think I’d personally be happy with those initials in all honesty.

I think [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] Oz__ sounds great! I don’t see a problem with H O initials.

[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is stunning  I love it! I don’t think the last name is a major issue, it doesn’t sound too clunky to me. The initials also seem fine, not a lot of teasing potential in them

I think the flow is good and the initials are not a big deal! [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] is lovely :yellow_heart:

I love it!!!

I think none of your concerns are going to make her life more difficult than if she had any other name :relieved:

I love [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] Os–!

I don’t find it clunky at all with the z sounds. I also want to note that my sister grew up with the initials HPO (which could be read as hippo) and never had any issues with it. Best of luck!

[name_u]Hazel[/name_u] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] works. And I went to school with a HO and they never got picked on for their initials
