I saw this and thought it was so sweet, kinda tough and countrified but also adorable. What could [name]Ree[/name] be a nickname for?
I had never heard of the name before but I was watching House Hunters Internationals and there was a Danish woman named Rie on. I looked it up and it appears to be a Danish variation of [name]Ria[/name] which is a nickname for [name]Maria[/name] or [name]Victoria[/name]. So following that logic it would be a nickname for [name]Marie[/name] or something along those lines. Not sure if any of this helps but I thought I’d share.

[name]Marie[/name] NN [name]Ree[/name] is a cute idea too.
[name]Rhiannon[/name] would get the sound but I’d probably spell it Rhi.
[name]Rowena[/name] or [name]Rosemary[/name] could work? I’ve been stuck on [name]Romy[/name]/[name]Rory[/name] for [name]Rosemary[/name] but [name]Ree[/name] makes as much sense.
I like [name]Riona[/name] but it’s pretty offbeat.

[name]Regan[/name] (pronounced [name]REE[/name]-gan) could easily go by [name]Ree[/name] as a nickname.

[name]Glad[/name] I checked back on this thread. [name]Theresa[/name] is one of my top choices and I never thought of the idea of [name]Ree[/name] as a playful pet name. With my daughter [name]Katharine[/name] we have a bunch of pet names in use simultaneously so I can totally imagine a [name]Theresa[/name] who is [name]Tess[/name], [name]Tessa[/name], Reeces, and [name]Ree[/name]. Cool.

I’m not sure how long ago you posted this and haven’t read the entire thread but my cousin/best friends name is [name_f]Sheree[/name_f] (it’s [name_m]French[/name_m] and has the little thing over it haha) and we have always called her [name_f]Ree[/name_f]! I love her name, it’s so pretty!
