How to honor Hester Rosa

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband is from Mexico and his grandmother (who was still in Mexico) that practically raised him passed away last month. Since we are TTC my husband would really like to honor her by using her name as a MN. However, I am not a fan of [name_f]Hester[/name_f] at all and [name_f]Rosa[/name_f] is just okay. Right now his top pick is [name_f]Jette[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. I like that form of [name_f]Rosa[/name_f], but my top pick for a girl is [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] and I dont like how [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] both have the same ending.

What are your thoughts on [name_f]Jette[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]?
What other forms of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (besides [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]) do you think would sound good?
Thoughts on [name_f]Hester[/name_f]?

I think [name_f]Jette[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] works but [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is definitely too rhymey.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite [name_f]Ros[/name_f]- names are [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], all of which sound pretty decent with [name_u]Oakley[/name_u].

[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] is definitely my favourite variant of [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but yeah, its not great with [name_u]Oakley[/name_u]. As the pp said, [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] would sound better with [name_f]Rosalyn[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] or just [name_f]Rosa[/name_f].

[name_f]Hester[/name_f] is a variant of [name_f]Esther[/name_f], meaning star, so how about using another name that means star? For example [name_f]Stella[/name_f], [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Estella[/name_f], [name_f]Asta[/name_f], [name_f]Astra[/name_f], [name_f]Etoile[/name_f]. [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] [name_f]Estella[/name_f] or [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] [name_f]Stella[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] would be really pretty.

The first thing to pop in my head was [name_f]Hettie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. [name_f]Hettie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is spunky, charming, and sweet. I personally do not care for [name_f]Jette[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]. I love [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] but for a boy.

I was going to suggest [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].

OakleyStella [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is a beautiful suggestion.

[name_f]Jette[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] goes nicely, but [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] does sound too rhymey. As @lovemysweeties said, [name_f]Hettie[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] - this is such a gorgeous name.

Hestor - [name_f]Hettie[/name_f], [name_f]Hetty[/name_f], [name_f]Tory[/name_f], Heston, [name_f]Esther[/name_f], Astor, [name_f]Hesther[/name_f], [name_f]Hestia[/name_f].

[name_f]Rosa[/name_f] - [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Rosie[/name_f], [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Roisin[/name_f], [name_f]Rosetta[/name_f], [name_f]Roza[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalba[/name_f], [name_f]Rosanna[/name_f], [name_f]Rosanne[/name_f].
