So I was thinking last night that maybe honoring my father would be nice in my little girls mn spot … [name]How[/name] ever I can’t think of a way … His name is [name]Michael[/name] [name]Anthony[/name] … He is a wonderful man I and I know he would just melt at the idea of his granddaughter being named after him!
I don’t like the name [name]Michelle[/name] so please no suggestions of this (sorry)…
What about [name]Michaela[/name] (mih-[name]KAY[/name]-lah) or [name]Antonia[/name]? [name]Both[/name] feminine forms of [name]Michael[/name] and [name]Anthony[/name]. I suppose [name]Kayla[/name] is another option, or you could even just use his initials–something like [name]Magda[/name] [name]Alice[/name], [name]Matilda[/name] [name]Anne[/name], or [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Ariana[/name]?
My grandpop was named [name]Michael[/name] [name]Anthony[/name]! I would love to honour him in with a future son or daughter.
I do think going with the initials MA would be a nice yet subtle way of honouring your father with your daughters name.
As ash said, there’s always [name]Michaela[/name] and [name]Antonia[/name], the most obvious female variations, but what about;
[name]Toni[/name]
[name]Tonia[/name]/[name]Tonya[/name]
[name]Toinette[/name] [twon-et]
[name]Antoinette[/name]
[name]Antonella[/name]?
And there’s also all of the ‘mack’ names such as [name]Mackenzie[/name].
[name]Micah[/name]
[name]Makayla[/name]
[name]Micheline[/name]
Mykaline (there’s a little girl at my daycare with this name pronounced mike-uh-leen which I suppose could be spelled [name]Michaeline[/name] and it would make more sense)
