We are in love with the name [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f] for a girl, but we like the idea of lengthening it so that [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] is almost the nick name.
Any ideas apart from the obvious [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]?

What about [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]? I know [name_f]Lola[/name_f] is more common, but I think [name_f]Lila[/name_f] works fine for it, and [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] are really cool together! I’ve come across Elila/[name_f]Alila[/name_f], which are both intriguing to me; I think they’re technically said eh-[name_u]LEE[/name_u]-lah/ah-[name_u]LEE[/name_u]-lah, but I like the idea of Elila prn. eh-LYE-lah. I think you could really do any [name_f]Lil[/name_f]- name, too–I think [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and [name_f]Liliane[/name_f] “[name_f]Lila[/name_f]”, [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and Lilikoi “[name_f]Lila[/name_f]”, [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and [name_f]Liliosa[/name_f] “[name_f]Lila[/name_f]”, etc. would be really cool. I think [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] could also work, but it just seems so slithery and evil to me; I can’t really entertain it. A lot of Berries seem to love it, though, and objectively, [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilith[/name_f] work together pretty well (I like [name_f]Liliosa[/name_f] and Lilikoi together better, though).
I know there’s a member on here (well, she hasn’t been around in a while) who has a daughter named Lilevi nn [name_f]Lilou[/name_f]. I think Lilevi (which, I think she said was pronounced [name_f]LILLA[/name_f]-vee) would work well with [name_f]Alaska[/name_f], with the nn [name_f]Lila[/name_f].

I think ash pretty much covered everything I had in mind. I just stopped by to say [name_f]Alaska[/name_f] is a pretty cool name. 
I like [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], and Elila is pretty cool too, never seen it before . [name_m]Ive[/name_m] always seen [name_f]Lyla[/name_f] as a stand alone name. What about something like Lyliana? Oh by the way ash, I like what you’ve done with the changes in your signature. I haven’t been on in so long!
