How to make names "clickable" on posts?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there!

This may seem like a dumb question but when I post something on a thread, how do I get the names to be highlighted blue, pink, or yellow? For instance if I were to write [name_f]Ava[/name_f], is there a way for the writing to be pink so that you can click on it to get to the name? Is there some kind of setting for this before I post? I know this might be confusing but I’m new to the forums and any help would be appreciated!

The highlight on the name doesn’t show up immediately after you post, but the link will be there if you come back to it maybe a minute or so later.

Unless you’ve searched the name before (then it will show usually up the same color as the text, but you can still click on it), the colored link will be clickable after a little bit in either blue to signify a masculine name, pink to show a feminine name, or yellow to show a unisex name.
