How to spell Faron?

I like the name [name_m]Faron[/name_m] (Fare - Inn) for a girl and after searching for the route of the name, I got the boy’s name [name_m]Faron[/name_m]. That being said, there are a million ways to spell it. If you heard this name, how would you spell it?

What about Fairin?

Maybe [name_m]Faryn[/name_m]? [name_m]Farin[/name_m]?

To get the ‘Inn’ sound, my first thought was [name_m]Faren[/name_m] or [name_m]Farin[/name_m]. [name_m]Faryn[/name_m] or Farynn could work as well though.

I think I like [name_m]Faren[/name_m] and Farynn the most stylistically. They look the most complete, correct, and they have nice flow to them. [name_m]Faren[/name_m] feels a little more on the unisex side, with Farynn being more obviously feminine.

Faryn or Farynn. Maybe Fairyn to make the fare sound obvious.

Probably Feren or Feryn

I like @TrulyBrilliant’s spelling of [name_m]Faren[/name_m] the best. It reminds me of [name_f]Maren[/name_f], so it feels feminine and gives you the pronunciation you’re going for.

I have the name Ferryn spelled like this on my list. It is supposedly the feminine spelling, though I’m not sure how accurate this is. In my printed name book, it says the meaning is farrow, however on this site, it’s adventurous: Ferryn - Name Meaning, What does Ferryn mean?

Where I live, you would have to spell it something like Ferron, Ferrin, Ferryn or Ferren to get that pronunciation ([name_m]Faron[/name_m] would be FAR-uhn here).

I think Ferryn looks nice.

@Estrela I’m not sure I like the word Fair being obvious in there. But, it would make it more easy to pronounce.

@TrulyBrilliant and @elanorelle I agree that [name_m]Faren[/name_m] is a nice spelling. I love the name [name_f]Maren[/name_f] too.

@Tee_Time I was reminded of the name from your list! I apologize that I didn’t tag you.

@choupette and @libertykate Thanks for the heads up about pronunciation! I’ll keep that in mind.

@jonquils I’m not sure this spelling is my style. However, it’s like Faerie which I’m sure many people would love!

Thanks for the input everyone! I’m leaning towards [name_m]Farin[/name_m], [name_m]Faren[/name_m], Ferrin, and Feren. I might do a poll next.
