How to spell name.. help!

I love the [name_m]Reece[/name_m] spelling especially with the mn but in this instance I would say [name_m]Rhys[/name_m], especially with big brother’s name!

I like [name_m]Rhys[/name_m]! However as far as people pronouncing it correctly I really don’t think you can go wrong either way.

I much prefer [name_m]Rhys[/name_m] for a boy. To me [name_m]Rhys[/name_m] is the masculine spelling.

[name_m]Rhys[/name_m]. It is the proper masculine way to spell it. [name_f][/name_f] You can’t choose a spelling just because someone might mispronounce it, they can always be corrected anyway. I think most people would know it was pronounced as [name_f]Reese[/name_f]. [name_f]Reese[/name_f] is rather feminine as a spelling for a boy. [name_m]Rhys[/name_m] is far more attractive and masculine looking.

[name_m]Rhys[/name_m] all the way! [name_m]Rhys[/name_m] is my brother’s name, and people always used to pronounce it “Rice” when he was younger but less people do it nowadays because the name is starting to get more popular in the US. He loves his name and doesn’t care if people mispronounce it!

[name_f][/name_f]

Fun fact ~ my parents were either going to name him [name_m]Rhys[/name_m] or [name_m]Holden[/name_m] because they were worried about how people would pronounce it, but ultimately they decided to stick with [name_m]Rhys[/name_m] and are so glad that they chose the name they loved! In fact, the unique spelling was why my parents loved the name [name_m]Rhys[/name_m]. So, I say to do what you love and don’t worry about things like that, they’ll get it eventually.
