[name]How[/name] do you post on a thread and include a quote from a previous post, when you want to answer that poster specifically or agree with what they said? I honestly cannot figure it out. For a teenager, I am really technically challenged. Thank you!
If you are looking at the post you’d like to quote from, go down to the bottom right (below the signature) and you should see “buttons” that say “reply”, “reply with quote”, and a quotation sign (not sure what that does!). Hit “reply with quote” and the post’s text should pop into your reply box. If you want to delete some of it (like it’s really long and you’re just replying to a sentence), you can erase some, but keep the square brackets that [ QUOTE ] and [ /QUOTE ] intact. Does this help?
Yes, I see it now. I think I had tried that earlier and it hadn’t worked, but that must have been me doing something wrong. Thanks so much!
You’re welcome!
