I am madly in love with [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] for a girl!
But am I totally crazy? Is it even slightly usable?
So what do you think?
If you had to rate how usable [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] is out of ten, what would you rate it?

It is usable, but only like 4/10. It makes me think of the Addams.
I’ll say 5/10, like it’s a sort of out there but not too bad. I does make me think of [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] Addams, which isn’t a necessarily a bad association but just something to be aware of.
I wouldnt use it. I guess it would be cool on a quirky teen, but what if she was completely ordinary person? she’d probably hate it, and think of all the jokes she’d get.
That being said, there’s always the middle spot. That way if she loves it she can use it later in life
I actually really like [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] as well, but I agree she’ll mostly get “like [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] Addams?” from others (most likely other parents, since the younger generations won’t know the Addams family).
I’ll give it a 5 out of 10. But she’ll always have the possibility of [name_f]Wendy[/name_f]
I actually really love this name. I do think of [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] Addams…but that’s not a bad thing to me. I would personally love that connection. [name_f]Wendy[/name_f]/[name_f]Winnie[/name_f] are cute nicknames. With all of the names out there, I don’t see this as being so bad. I give it a 5/10 because it really depends on what reactions you are willing to get. To many, this name is probably a little bit out there, but to others it would be seen as a cool name.
I think [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] is 100% usable. I know a girl named [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] (she’s sometimes called [name_f]Wendy[/name_f]), and she has no problems with her name. She actually gets a lot of complements.
8/10. Cool, quirky, name!
I like it!!! (In my younger days it was always my “bar name” when I didn’t want to use my real name)
I think it’s useable but it is one that if you love it, you have to be commited and firm with it. Be able to not let comments, questioning looks or anything sway you. In this day in age it certainly won’t be the weirdest name most people have heard! I’d give it a 5/10 on the usability scale!
I think it’s perfectly usable if you have a [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] Addams type of girl at home but not for your average little sweetheart.
But beyond being mainly a one-person-name, I think it just seems a bit too common of a word to use as a name.
I don’t have a problem with it because it’s a day name (I really like [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f] and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]) but because of the Addams family usage - maybe use [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f]?
It would be weird if she wasn’t born on that day of the week.
I think Wesnesday is to out there for first name but would make a perfect mn.
I think it’s useable. Also, I think it rates 7 out of 10 on the scale of rare names (10 being completely unusable), and 7 out of 10 for being my third favourite day after [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_f]Monday[/name_f] (yes, I’m nuts). I love Wednesdays. They are just so calm compared the rest of the week. Nice, dependable [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] is the day you are most in flow, as you are most settled into your routine. People sometimes think of [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] as “blah”, but it’s better than [name_f]Monday[/name_f], and I think it brings out the truth about the way people feel about their lives. If you’re happy on a [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]… well, you’re doing just fine. I always like the steady pace of the day, and how well-rounded everything feels, if that makes sense.
I love days of the week names such as [name_f]Tuesday[/name_f], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] or Friday but again the [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] [name_m]Adams[/name_m] think. And since your other daughter’s names are [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] (gorgeous names btw), I feel a more “older” name might go with that.
I really like [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] as a name! It sounds cute and quirky but a little devious (probably a subconscious quality stemming from [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] [name_m]Adams[/name_m]). I give it a six out of ten for usability, but in general I give it a seven. I think it’s really cool!
I don’t think you will ever get rid of [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] Addams. But if you’re good with that…maybe? [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] is usable, so why not [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]?
[name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] is not at all usable as a name. 0/10 - not at all usable.
[name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] Addams will always be my first association. Its not a bad reference but your daughter might not like it. I prefer it as a middle by far and I think other days are more usable like [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]. I would rate it 4/10.
I love it.
Yep - absolutely has the “Addams family” association, but if [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] Kidman can use “[name_f]Sunday[/name_f]” I think go for it!
