I feel like it depends what you’re doing. If you’re chopping down a tree then an axe is your best bet. On the battlefield however, you might be better with a short sword for hand to hand combat.
…
In short. [name_m]Axe[/name_m] is not a name.
[name_m]Axel[/name_m]/[name_m]Axl[/name_m] on the other hand, is marvellous
In the US anyway, there is a brand of men’s deodorant/cologne type stuff called [name_m]Axe[/name_m]. That stuff reeks [name_f]IMO[/name_f], and the TV commercials are pretty stupid and sexist. Not a good association…
Lol at both previous comments. The cologne with the tacky ads was what I immediately thought of, too.
i do like [name_m]Axel[/name_m]/[name_m]Axl[/name_m], though.
I really love [name_m]Axel[/name_m] I think [name_m]Axe[/name_m] could be a nice nn for [name_m]Axel[/name_m] but I don’t think it would make a good fn.
I voted neutral because I like is as a nn and hate it as a fn.
No. Try [name_m]Axel[/name_m] instead.
Weapon or deodorant? No thank you.
I dislike [name_m]Axe[/name_m]. When I read the title of the thread I thought [name_m]Axe[/name_m] was a typo and you were asking about [name_m]Axel[/name_m]. I do like [name_m]Axel[/name_m].
Like other berries, I think of deodorant and the extravagant commercials.
It would be okay if not the associations, but I still prefer [name_m]Axel[/name_m] or [name_m]Axl[/name_m].
[name_m]Axel[/name_m] isn’t bad but [name_m]Axe[/name_m] isn’t good, [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
The smell of that stuff makes me nauseous
I would chop it from my list. Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
