I usually try to stay clear of popular names like [name_m]Peter[/name_m], but i’ve been really drawn to it lately. I’m a big fan of non-intuitve nicknames and I’ve been crushing on [name_m]Pip[/name_m] as a nickname to [name_m]Peter[/name_m], but mostly likely if I use it I’d push for just [name_m]Peter[/name_m] with no nickname.
What would you suggest for the middle?
I would like something unusual like [name_m]Balthazar[/name_m], [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] and [name_m]Marcellus[/name_m]. Also I’d like to stay away from ‘M’ names. You might noticed the unintentional theme in the combos above. I’ve thought of continuing it, but I went through the entire database on BehindtheName and no other ‘M’ appeal to.
I love the name [name_m]Peter[/name_m]! It’s traditional, but has the associations of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Pan[/name_m], [name_m]Peter[/name_m] Rabbit, and [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_u]Parker[/name_u]. And it goes quite well with your list. I absolutely love the nickname [name_m]Pip[/name_m], too <3 Middles:
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Casimir[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Ephraim[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Eleazar[/name_m]/[name_m]Eliazar[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] Alachai (Alakai is a hawaiian name, but I prefer this spelling)
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Silvius[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Valerian[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Vladko[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Cassius[/name_m]
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] * I know you said no M names, I just couldn’t resist, I love the two meanings together, very strong.
I think [name_m]Peter[/name_m] goes well with your boy names. [name_m]Peter[/name_m] and [name_m]Alaric[/name_m] are probably the most different from one another, but would still work as siblings, I think.
[name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Balthasar[/name_m] sounds a tiny bit like “Peanut Butter” but I like the strength of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Marcellus[/name_m].

Of what you have listed, I vote for [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m].
The advantage of a more traditional/popular name is it will go with almost anything. I don’t think you can go too wrong with [name_m]Peter[/name_m] as far as sibsets go, unless you decide to give your other sons names that would befit boys from District 1 in the Hunger Games. (However, since it is such an established choice, you might have a hard time fending off the nicknames [name_m]Pete[/name_m] and [name_m]Petey[/name_m] even if you do push hard for [name_m]Pip[/name_m] or just [name_m]Peter[/name_m]. Classmates and friends tend to have minds of their own.)
I had a response to each of you individually written out then my power went off.
Thank you every for your suggestions! From all the suggestions the one that is popping out to me the most is [name_m]Lysander[/name_m]. I really like the look and sound of [name_m]Peter[/name_m] [name_m]Lysander[/name_m]. I’m surprised because I’ve never been a fan of [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] and wouldn’t even have gave it a second glance before.
[name_m]Marcellus[/name_m], [name_m]Balthazar[/name_m] and [name_m]Leonidas[/name_m] are just examples of the type of names I am looking for. I already have them paired in combinations that I love.
