Naming is an art, and we all have different styles.
Eclectic
I’d say, names that sit somewhere between mystical, earthy, elegant and snappy?
Interesting question! I’m not as talented in this arena as many berries, but I’ll give it a go.
I’m feeling very ballet-chic with my girls names at the moment (Anna, Coppélia, Odette), and I’ve always adored nature names for both sexes (Rose, [name_f]Violet[/name_f], River), but I’m especially feelin’ them rn. Overall, my style is usually classic (would it be used in a [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_u]Austen[/name_u] novel?? is one of my name tests), familiar and soft-sounding. I like to think of braided hair tied with pink ribbons, smocked dresses, soft downy feathers, scrambling up trees, tea parties, watercolours & ballet shoes.
I’d say ethereal, balletic and nature inspired
[name_f]Vintage[/name_f] elegance with a touch of botanical charm, classical grandeur, and a delicate, ethereal dimension.
country + modern
classic, vintage and sweet with a soft spot for whimsical word names
I’d say classic, [name_f]British[/name_f] sounding, nature, woodsy, balletic, storybook names! It sounds like a mess of descriptions, but I find that my styles generally go well together (in my opinion). I prefer softer names for boys (still definitely masculine, but less harsh) and stronger names for girls (still feminine, but with stronger sounds or meanings.)
Nature classic with a modern vibe
I like names like
Penelope cove
Brooks indigo
Adeline river
Palmer blue
I’d say I lean more towards dark academia, vintage and whimsical names
Hm… I’d say mine is mismatched and weird—in an adventurous, literary, and spirited kind of way!?
[name_f]Kinda[/name_f] a mixture between retro/midcentury, country, vintage elegant, and a few random other things mixed in
i’d call it sweet, summery, familiar and carefree with some nature influences:
i think my boys can lean a little bit gentler and more modern than what i’d call my overall style as well.
Coming back to try do mine visually!
