How would you pronounce Berenice?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries, how would you pronounce [name_f]Berenice[/name_f]? I think there are at least 3 ways I could see people pronouncing it and I might add it back to my list. What are your thoughts on [name_f]Berenice[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]?

Instinctively like bedr-eh-nee-ehs, then as I look at it, [name_m]Bear[/name_m]-uh-neese.

I also would pronounce it as [name_m]Burr[/name_m]-neese, well maybe sometimes I pronounce it like
[name_u]Bern[/name_u]-neese!

At a glance, [name_f]Bernice[/name_f]. If I look at it properly, baron eese (like geese).

I initially misread and pronounced it as [name_f]Bernice[/name_f], which I think would happen a lot (fails the substitute teacher test).

Beh-reh-neese for me! I love it, esp with the nickname [name_u]Berry[/name_u] :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

beh-ruh-neese

the first syllable is bet without the t, the second is very unstressed, and the third is the same as niece
