My husband and I love the name [name]Eliora[/name], just wondering how you would pronounce it. The way people pronounce names is important to me. I’ve looked and found a few different ways to say this name, and I prefer one way. I hope you’d say it the same way I would!

I would pronounce it [name]Ellie[/name]-orah. I think it is very beautiful. My god is light-what a spiritual meaning! It’s got the popular “[name]Ellie[/name]” in it for a nickname, or “ory” which is cute as well.

Agreed. el-ee-OR-ah. I can’t think of another natural way to say it. Any other way sounds forced.

I actually know a girl by this name in my grade. Everyone pronounces it [name]Ell[/name]-e-or-a, no one has ever had trouble pronouncing her name. I think its a beautiful and classy name. [name]Ellie[/name] or [name]Lior[/name] would be cute nicknames :slight_smile:
