How would you pronounce Evelia?

While searching for a 2nd middle name for [name_f]Willow[/name_f] to fill in [name_f]Willow[/name_f] ____ [name_f]Grace[/name_f], I have fallen in love with [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Evelia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I’ve been googling to see how people pronounce it and it seems like almost everyone pronounces it differently. If I were to use it, I would want it to be pronounced Ev-eh-lee-a. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] but replace lyn with lia. I really love it but I feel like everyone would always pronounce it wrong. WDYT?

I would have said eh-VEE-lee-ah. Saying it your way, I would say it like eh-veh-[name_u]LEE[/name_u]-ah which to me, sounds odd. But I get what you’re trying to do and don’t think it would be too hard to get people to say it your way. Plus, it’s in the middle so it’s not as big a deal.

[name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_f]Evelia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is lovely.

Ehv-eh-[name_u]LEE[/name_u]-uh would be how I’d pronounce it. Beautiful name.

eh- veel-ya

ee-vee-lee-ah

I’m pronouncing it “Eh-vee-lee-ah,” similar to [name_f]Amelia[/name_f].

Thanks for the replies… I truly love this name as a first middle as long as it’s pronounced how I’m saying it. Obviously everyone will pronounce it differently and that’s discouraging.

Something along the lines of (ehv-uh-lee-uh).

My first thought was ee-VEE-lee-uh, then eev-lee-uh.

eev-lee-uh for me

eh-veh-[name_u]LEE[/name_u]-ah for me.
