Pronunciation is based on the spelling.
[name_f]Leila[/name_f]/[name_f]Layla[/name_f] = lay
[name_f]Laila[/name_f] = lay (English) or lah-ee-lah (Arabic)
[name_f]Lela[/name_f] = lee
[name_f]Lila[/name_f]/[name_f]Lyla[/name_f] = lie
I like the flow of [name_f]Leila[/name_f] [name_f]Josette[/name_f] better but like the name [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] better as a stand-alone name, which this wouldn’t be. And I have never heard [name_f]Nyomi[/name_f]–only Nay-omi.
