I think [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] is a beautiful name! I pronounce it “[name_f]Rose[/name_f]-uh-line” but, I have seen people pronounce is “[name_f]Rose[/name_f]-a-lynn” and “[name_f]Roz[/name_f]-uh-lynn” What do you all think? and do you think it is too confusing to name a child this? Thank you!
another question: [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] [name_u]Harper[/name_u], does this look pretty/sound pretty?
I have been the biggest fan of [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] as I long as I can remember!
[name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] appears in [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] & [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] pronounced as roz-uh-lynn, so that might be why some people tend to pronounce it that way. However, [name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] is also a [name_m]French[/name_m] name pronounced roh-suh-leen, and that’s also applicable. I personally have never heard anyone pronounce it your way (rhyming with [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]), but it sounds like an anglicized version of the latter I described. Because there are multiple correct pronunciations of the name, you might have to correct a few people, but overall it’s a gorgeous name.
[name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] [name_u]Harper[/name_u] is gorgeous, though I tend to prefer the [name_m]French[/name_m] pronunciation above all.
I would pronounce it [name_f]Rose[/name_f]-A-Lean
Which is probably odd because I would pronounce [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] as [name_f]Roz[/name_f]-A-[name_u]Lind[/name_u]
