[name]Sam[/name]-you-el-uh is how I would say it, and I think with [name]Samuel[/name] being a common boys name, it just seems odd. I’m not a fan of it, but I don’t think it’s unuseable. She’ll probably be called [name]Sam[/name] so it wouldn’t matter, except most might think her full name is [name]Samantha[/name].
I would pronounce it the same as Catloverd, sam-you-el-uh. I think it’s usable but I don’t think it’s pretty.
I would say it like catloverd, [name]Sam[/name]-you-ell-uh. Which makes me think of salmonella. I don’t like it at all. I think if you want a name for a girl that has the nickname [name]Sam[/name], [name]Samantha[/name] is a better choice.

Prefer [name]Samantha[/name] or [name]Samara[/name] over [name]Samuela[/name].
