Say-bull, rhyming with stable or [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]
Like [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] with an S!
Suh-belle, like [name_f]Isabel[/name_f]
sah-BEL, I think? Like the last part of [name_f]Isabel[/name_f], Spanish-style.
That’s how I would say [name_f]Sable[/name_f]
I would assume they are the same at first glance

I always fail at these name tests lol. But I’d say the same as @Kipperbo1
#tests! Gosh it won’t let me edit my post.
Is [name_u]Sabel[/name_u] not the same as [name_f]Sable[/name_f]? [name_u]Or[/name_u] is meant to be like Sah-bel?
I don’t think there’s a right answer necessary but I was just curious. I like the SAY-bull pronunciation but prefer the [name_u]Sabel[/name_u] spelling and I was curious how problematic that would be. Sounds like it would cause some confusion!
I’m in the USA and would say it’s pronounced [name_m]Say[/name_m]-Bull. That’s also how the animal and color where I live are pronounced. I adore this name, and it was nice to see it on a thread!

Mabel starting with an S.
Say stable and take away the T and then say it again… thats how I would say it.
