Clarifying my personal pronunciation key:

When I use “ah” to represent a sound, it is for a long A sound — NOT like in apple, or able, but like in all or car.

Inez/Ines = IN-ezz
Aisha/Ayesha = eye-EE-shah
[name_f]Ayla[/name_f] = EYE-lah
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] = nay-OH-mee
[name_f]Viola[/name_f] = VY-uh-lah
[name_f]Cherith[/name_f] = CHAIR-ith
[name_f]Alicia[/name_f] = ah-LEE-see-uh
Aaliyah/Aleah/Aliya = ah-LEE-uh

I pronounce these:

Inez/Ines: ee-NEHZ or ee-NEHS depending on spelling
Aisha/Ayesha: eye-EE-shuh
[name_f]Ayla[/name_f]: EYE-lah
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]: I use nye-OH-mee, ney-OH-mee, and nah-OH-mee interchangeably
[name_f]Viola[/name_f]: vee-OH-lah
[name_f]Cherith[/name_f]: CHEHR-ith
[name_f]Alicia[/name_f]: I use ah-LEE-see-ah and ah-LEE-shah interchangeably
Aaliyah/Aleah/Aliya: uh-LEE-uh for the first two spellings, AH-lee-ah for the last (not quite sure how to write that first vowel, it’s kind of a mix between an “ah” and “uh”)
[name_f]Talia[/name_f]: TAH-lee-ah
[name_f]Marcella[/name_f]: mahr-SEHL-ah
[name_f]Liv[/name_f]: LEEV as a full name, LIHV if I think it’s being used as a nickname
[name_f]Roisin[/name_f]: roh-SHEEN
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]: I say ow-REH-lyah (ow like ouch) and oh-REE-lee-ah interchangeably.
[name_f]Eva[/name_f]: EH-vah
[name_u]Esme[/name_u]: ehz-meh (second syllable is in between “meh” and “may”)
[name_f]Renee[/name_f]: reh-neh (same as above with the second syllable, but this one is more like “nay” when I say it?)
[name_f]Nadine[/name_f]: nah-DEEN
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f]: NUH-dyuh
