I found this name on IMDB. It looks interesting, but I have not idea how to pronounce it. The name is [name]Cymbre[/name]. I’m not sure if it’s kim-ber, sim-ber, kim-brie, sim-brie, kim-bruh, sim-bruh, or something else entirely.
Thanks for your help!

sim-ber? If timbre is tam-ber, then would [name]Cymbre[/name] be sim-ber?
I used to know someone named [name]Cymbre[/name] and she pronounced it sim-brie.
I would pronounce it sim-ber, without knowing anything else about it. But NB says it’s a variation of [name]Kimberly[/name], so that makes me think it might be kim-ber.
I would pronounce it “sim bree”
I would definitely say [name]Sim[/name]-ber

My first guess was sim-bree but I might say sim-ber.
[name]Kim[/name]-breh if the C is hard, [name]Sim[/name]-breh if the C is soft.

I’d pronounce it [name]Sam[/name]-ber (rhymes with timbre) or [name]Sim[/name]-bruh/[name]Sam[/name]-bruh. I’ll be the weird one
I would probably say kam-bre, like timbre

I’d guess it’s Greek, and would be likely to pronounce it [name]Kim[/name]-bre.
I would pronounce it sim-ber.
My first instinct was sim-bree. I could see kim-bree being a possibility though.
I would say, [name]Kim[/name]-brie but I don’t honestly know.

I thought [name]Sim[/name]-bree right when I read it. A lot of these guessed pronunciations are really very pretty–too bad there are so many!
My initial reading was sim-bray
