Hi, I know lots of people have said that they say it care-uh, but I personally have only heard it said car-uh, and I have met 3 different Cara’s. I don’t think it would be difficult at all to correct, although it does seem that the most common pronunciation would depend upon where you live. Naturally, to me, this name rhymes with Tara (tar-uh) / Zara (zar-uh)/ Lara (lar-uh)/ Ara (ar-uh). I think Cara is a beautiful, classic name with an awful lot to offer. Have a great day :).
