I would say SOO-luh, because it reminds me of Voula (I have known people with this name) which is pronounced VOO-luh.

I would instinctively say soh-lah (as in the word soul), but could easily be corrected to say soo-lah or even soo-ooh-lah.

Thankyou a bit of a mix then. I think I’d go Sole-a, prefer the [name_f]Sula[/name_f] spelling for the other prn, but it’s just occurred to me that it sounds like solar :-/
