Okay, I was scrolling through some posts on here and came across the name [name_f]Elina[/name_f]. And I was wondering how you pronounce it! I have been pronouncing it eh-lena, but I am not positive if that is the pronunciation or if it is just how they would pronounce it where I am living. Thanks!!!

I would pronounce it eh-[name_u]LYNN[/name_u]-uh. Eh-lena looks like [name_f]Elena[/name_f], even though I don’t think that’s how [name_f]Elena[/name_f] is pronounced.

I agree, I imagine it is pronounced Eh-lee-nuh.
I pronounce [name_f]Elena[/name_f] as eh-lay-nuh, but it can also be pronounced eh-lehn-uh, so the lee pronunciation for [name_f]Elina[/name_f] makes sense to me…

[name_f]Elina[/name_f] (and [name_f]Eline[/name_f]) are pretty common where I live. It’s pronounced ay-[name_u]LEE[/name_u]-nah here.
