How would you spell this nn?

For the name [name]Phoebe[/name]. I know [name]Phoebe[/name] does not really need a set nickname but I still like shortening it and I love [name]Bee[/name] but I also love [name]Fee[/name] and think [name]Fee[/name] would be said more often because it’s the beginning of the name. But how to spell it? If I was using the b sound in the middle I’d just spell it Phoeb but what about just the first syllable? I don’t really like the look of [name]Fee[/name], Phoe is no good. I like the look of Fi the best but it has none of the same letters as [name]Phoebe[/name]. Does that matter?

I would use Fi or [name]FiFi[/name]. I don’t think it matters if the letter “F” is in the name or not.

I don’t think that matters at all. Its weird though-I actually prefer [name]Fee[/name] but thats just personal preference.

I think Phi would work

A cute aspect of the [name]Fee[/name] spelling: [name]Fee[/name] is the [name]German[/name] word for fairy (pronounced Feh, but still)

Phi looks like a sorority. I like [name]Fee[/name] or Phee

We have a friend and her nn is ‘Fi’ granted those letters are in the middle of her name but I agree… the nn doesn’t have to use the same letters as the full name, just has to represent the nn.
My BFF is Michellle and yet goes by ‘Mish’ as the nn and not Mich.

I like Phee or maybe even Phe.

I don’t like…
Fi - it looks like it should be pronounced “fye”
[name]Fee[/name] - it looks like the word. Like you should pay a fee.
Phi is a Greek letter.

Probably [name]Fee[/name], but for what it’s worth, my sister is [name]Phoebe[/name] and she has never been called [name]Fee[/name]. Phoebs/Pheebz usually
