My sister has settled on the name [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] (which I love by the way) but now comes the discussion of spelling…how would you spell [name_f]Nora[/name_f]? With or without the “h”
[name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] P.
Or
[name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] P.
I think the standard spelling would be [name_f]Nora[/name_f], but to be honest, the first time I heard of this name it was because of [name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] and hers is spelled with an H. I think I prefer it with the H…
What a beautiful name! Honestly, I’ve always liked the spelling as [name_f]Norah[/name_f]. It’s more classic and glamorous. Popular names these days end in “a” and are short and cutsey, and “[name_f]Nora[/name_f]” would fit into that category. However, adding the “h” at the end makes it seem more… mature? Does that make sense?
I much prefer the [name_f]Nora[/name_f] spelling. [name_f]Nora[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is beautiful and sweet.
I like both spellings but I’ve always spelt it [name_f]Nora[/name_f] probably because [name_f]Norah[/name_f] reminds me a little bit too much of [name_u]Noah[/name_u] which I prefer to [name_f]Nora[/name_f].
Great name! And I don’t think you could go wrong either way. Personally I’d spell it [name_f]Nora[/name_f] with no h. But I think either way would be fine.
