no matter how i try to faniggle, names in my posts won’t link. i have to manually do it. i also noticed it says html turned off at the bottom, while everything else is on. i can’t find where the option is to turn it on? help? 
They do it automatically. HTML is off for me too- I don’t think it’s to do with that. If you post something and leave it for a few minutes, they will link. If you keep going back and editing it, they won’t link.
Out of interest, why are you so keen on having linked names in posts? I personally find it kind of annoying, especially since they now show up in colours 
i’ve tried going back on mine & they definitely don’t link do i have to capitalize them, too? i can’t figure out my issue lol. anyway, i like them being linked – bc it draws attention to the name in the post amongst the rest of the post.
Yeah they have to be capitalised. They’re a proper nouns, they’re supposed to be capitalised anyway 
that’s the problem! i never bother capitalizing when i type! LOL… lesson for me thanks, guys.
