We have had a boy’sname picked out for 2 years now but couldn’t decide on a girls name. [name]Just[/name] this weekend, we were going through our lists talking about it, and we finally came up with a name we both love!
I agree it sounds really sweet. I would prefer [name]Kylie[/name], as well. [name]How[/name] do you pronounce [name]Alaine[/name]? Like [name]Elaine[/name], you just want to emphasize the “ah” sound over the “ee” sound? I think [name]Kylie[/name] [name]Elaine[/name] would be lovely. Then again, I have a standard spelling and still get questions as to how to spell it, so I can only imagine it’d be more of a headache for someone with a not-so-traditional spelling.
I don’t like it spelled [name]Kylie[/name]…reminds me of the Kardashian/Jenners…I know names ending in leigh are common dowadays and I don’t like when you take a common name like ashley and make it ashleigh, But, I just like how it looks for [name]Kyleigh[/name]
[name]Kyleigh[/name] [name]Alaine[/name] is really pretty. I don’t mind this spelling at all. I liked [name]Alaina[/name] for a long time so I like [name]Alaine[/name] too. Great choices!
Thank you libbyj06! [name]Alaina[/name] was one idea for a first name, but I like the tradition of keeping middles names in the family and passing on my middle name to my daughters middle name. My husband and I both agreed fist names can be original and middle names should be family names.
[name]Alaine[/name] is beautiful and I like the idea of passing on your mn.
[name]Kyleigh[/name] isnt my style, but could grow on me, I’m not a fan if many K names but taught a sweet little [name]Kaleigh[/name] who helped my perception of the Ks and the leighs quite a bit if that makes sense.
