Hubby's recent favorite

My husband’s recent favorite name is [name]Rylee[/name]. I don’t know how I feel about it. Thoughts?

I really dislike it, sorry. I actually love [name]Riley[/name] for a little boy and luckily for me in the US it’s a super popular boy’s name here so no one really considers it for a girl!

I dislike the spelling and she would blend into a sea of [name]Kylee[/name]'s, [name]Kaylee[/name]'s, [name]Baylee[/name]'s etc.

I have a 5year old daughter named [name]Ryley[/name]…so obviously I love the name. But I do have to advise you that if you are in the US it is very popular on both genders. We have actually come across more girl Rileys (of various spellings) than boy Rileys, but she is the only one in her Kindergarten class (not just her room but out of all 100 kindergarten students).

I am in the US. I realize it’s popular on boys and girls, but I think I can deal with that. My daughter’s name is [name]Teagan[/name], which is technically unisex even though I’ve only seen it on a girl, ever.

Personally I don’t care for the name [name]Rylee[/name]/[name]Riley[/name]/[name]Ryley[/name]/[name]Ryleigh[/name](I’ve seen all 4 spellings) too much. I prefer the [name]Riley[/name] spelling. I consider it to be a girl’s name even though it’s very popular on both genders.

It’s nice. It sounds kind of pottery barn-esque, however I like traditional spellings better like [name]Riley[/name].
