Hughene: Anyone heard of this name?

I work as a church receptionist, and today I saw a written phone message from a woman with a name I’d never heard of: Hughene. She is in her 90s. Has anyone ever met someone with this name? I checked on a couple of name sites but couldn’t find it; the closest I found was Hughina and Hughlene. I’m assuming it’s a female variant of [name]Hugh[/name] and pronounced [name]Hugh[/name]-een (and not Hug-heen, yikes!), but have no idea.

I know Hughina is a name, never heard Hughene though. It sounds more male, like [name]Eugene[/name].

Thanks [name]Ottilie[/name]. I’d never heard of Hughina either. Does it have a -gina sound at the end, or is the “gh” silent like with [name]Hugh[/name]?
