I personally prefer [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] and [name_m]Alastair[/name_m] so voted for [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] [name_m]Alastair[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u].
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Alastair[/name_m]/[name_m]Alasdair[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is fantastic (I don’t have a preference really about the spelling of the latter). Definitely prefer [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] over [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] though.
I like [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] better. It feels more modern and usable at any age. To me, [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] is a name for an older gentleman. Especially with a really old school/classic name like [name_m]Alastair[/name_m], I feel like it needs [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] to brighten it up and make it feel fresh.
Also prefer the spelling of [name_m]Alastair[/name_m].
Additionally, I think [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]'s 2 syllables sounds better that the 1 syllable of [name_m]Hugh[/name_m].
Therefore my vote is for [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Alastair[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u].
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is incredible!
I like both [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], but strongly prefer [name_m]Alastair[/name_m] over [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m] if that helps
Thank you everyone for your feedback!! I appreciate all your help
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] got my vote, simply because I greatly prefer [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] to [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], like [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m] over [name_m]Alastair[/name_m] and think the combo as a whole flows well.
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] definitely feels a lot more youthful than [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], which seems like he’d be at least 50. I also picked [name_m]Alastair[/name_m] because the spelling is a bit more intuitative, though [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m] is also nice. I’d probably go for the latter spelling if it had a specific meaning to you, but otherwise the more common one.
I’m in love with this combo! [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Alastair[/name_m] / [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] is exquisitely handsome!
I typically prefer the [name_m]Alasdair/name_m spelling but here I think the T in [name_m]Alastair[/name_m] looks better with [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. I definitely prefer [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] to [name_m]Hugh[/name_m].

I feel like [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] [name_m]Alistair[/name_m]/[name_m]Alasdair[/name_m] [name_u]Rhys[/name_u] sounds like a list of names, not necessarily connected. With [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] as a first name, to me this sounds more like one flowing name. Personally I prefer the traditional Scottish [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m] spelling. I am in [name_f]England[/name_f] and the only 2 Alasdairs I know have this spelling x
