Humour me with a 4th ( just for fun)

Ok I have two boys.
Zàchary
Alexànder

[name_m]Say[/name_m] our third was a girl and she was called Tàbitha

What would you name number 4 ( if they were a boy or a girl)

Ideally looking for a girl or boys name ending in the Y/IE sound so Zàchary doesn’t look stand alone/odd name out to the rest of the siblings. I like how Alexànder and Tàbitha match in ending so I’d want a same ending with regards to my eldest. [name_m]Just[/name_m] curious to see what you guys come up with.

As you can see I like modern classic names but I don’t like the very classic names like [name_m]John[/name_m]/David/Matthew etc I also gravitate towards biblical names but I’m not sure why as I am not religious I just think most biblical names sound lovely.
I also love Greek and Latin names.
Thanks

Coralie
[name_f]Nora[/name_f]
[name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
[name_f]Talie[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
[name_f]Ariadne[/name_f]
[name_f]Xanthe[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Arrietty[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecily[/name_f]
[name_f]Hermione[/name_f]
[name_f]Calliope[/name_f]

Thank you! I love
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f], felicity, Arietty, [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] and [name_f]Hermione[/name_f]. I’m not sure I’d be brave enough to use [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] but I really like [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] the best. That’s so sweet.

For a boy:
Zàchary, Alexànder, Tàbitha, and Sebàstian
or
Zàchary, Alexànder, Tàbitha, and Chàrlie

For a girl:
Zàchary, Alexànder, Tàbitha, and Dàphne
or
Zàchary, Alexànder, Tàbitha, and Rosàlie

Don’t know if any of those appeal, but I tried to capture the modern classic feel, the old roots, and the ‘ee’ ending sound as much as I could.

I go by [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] myself as I am a [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. Really like [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] was on our list!

Cecily sprang to mind for me too, it really is lovely.

How do you feel about [name_u]Romilly[/name_u]? To me, it’s soft, warm, feminine but with a bit of a quirky, funky edge to it, which is exactly how I feel about T@bitha.

Adding [name_f]Ianthe[/name_f] and [name_f]Verity[/name_f], and maybe [name_f]Clementine[/name_f]? (If you pronounced it with the -een ending sound, it would be close to -ee).

For boys…

Barnaby
[name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]
[name_m]Gregory[/name_m]
[name_u]Emory[/name_u]
[name_m]Amaury[/name_m]
[name_m]Malachy[/name_m] (MAL-ah-kee)
[name_m]Jacoby[/name_m]
[name_u]Quincy[/name_u]
[name_m]Monty[/name_m]/Montgomery
[name_u]Willoughby[/name_u]

(Some more out there than others!)

Verity is one of my all time faves so really glad you mentioned it as it would be a top contender. [name_u]Romilly[/name_u] is pretty I like that.
I like [name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]! And [name_m]Jacoby[/name_m] I like [name_m]Monty[/name_m] but not too keen on [name_u]Montgomery[/name_u]. [name_u]Willoughby[/name_u] is great too.

How is [name_m]Jacoby[/name_m] and [name_u]Romilly[/name_u] prononced?

Ja-co-bee
Or [name_m]Jack[/name_m]-oh-bee ( prefer this)

Rome-ah-lee
Or Rom-aly ?

Some of our 4th girl names we liked are
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Verity[/name_f]
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelie[/name_f]

Girl: [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] or [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f]
Boy: [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] or [name_u]Jasper[/name_u]

I say…

JACK-uh-bee

ROM-i-lee

NB: I think [name_m]Jacoby[/name_m] is generally pronounced “juh-KO-bee” in the States, but I feel like the way I intuitively pronounce it (above) is the most likely in the UK.

I much prefer [name_m]Jacoby[/name_m] the way you say it. It sounds rugged but mature.
That’s how I would say [name_u]Romilly[/name_u] too. NN [name_f]Milly[/name_f] or [name_u]Romy[/name_u] is also sweet

I love [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] but I wouldn’t want another A name ideally. [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] has been a favourite for a long time but my friend’s son is named [name_u]Jasper[/name_u] so I feel like that name is taken.

Mari (mah-ree) for a girl.

Nicholas for a boy. Though I love the previous suggestion of [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m].

Marjorie, [name_f]Camilla[/name_f], or [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] for a girl.

I like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f]. The other two are not our style much. [name_m]Nicholas[/name_m] is lovely if it wasn’t for a childhood ex friend of my partner’s.

A pretty name.

I have a very good friend who’s name is [name_u]Marie[/name_u] so it’s too close for us.
