I like the feel of [name_f]Elek[/name_f], but it doesn’t work with our last name (the first sound is K sound).
Any names that would sound good when pronounced in English?
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t really want very common ones like [name_m]Laszlo[/name_m], Gabor, Istvan, and [name_m]Zoltan[/name_m], since those are taken by multiple people in our family. Would love something that’s unique even in Hungary, but not a requirement.
I suggest you visit the babynamewizard.com there are two Hungarian sisters who are longtime members and I’m sure they will love to help you!
Although you said you wanted something more unique, I can’t help but say that Gabor would have been my suggestion, as handsome as it is.
Thanks! I’ll check that site out. I’ve been to every site out there listing Hungarian names and have read I think ALL of them, so at this point, I just don’t think there’s one out there for us. I think we’ll stick to English or Italian (other side of the family).
