Both are good names, why not share the names of your older children and we can help you find names to fit with those.
If you have named two children you have already reached a compromise twice so have faith - you can do this x
I think [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] is a great name! I say Vee-go also, if this is what your going for. [name_m]Vigo[/name_m] is another alternative, which I believe is pronounced Vy-go.
[name_m]Alec[/name_m] is a bit wishy washy in my opinion, and [name_u]Alex[/name_u] would be a stronger and more well rounded, although this is very mainstream.
[name_m]Just[/name_m] depends as well on the names of your other children, and what fits best. Good luck!
My other children are [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] ([name_m]Ike[/name_m]) named by my husband, and [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] (V, [name_f]Vivi[/name_f], [name_f]Birdie[/name_f]) named by myself.
I have no need or desire at all for names that go well together as sib sets. I know it’s important to a lot of people, but I could not care less about that aspect of naming.
I would like a strong name if this baby is a boy, something very masculine, but I’m really having a hard time with it.
We are not finding out the sex this time so i’m feeling overwhelmed that we need to find names for both sexes! Any input is greatly appreciated
I’m from the states and I have to confess, I’m not entirely sure how to pronounce [name_m]Viggo[/name_m]. My first instinct would be VIG-o but I’m guessing that’s not right I think [name_m]Alec[/name_m] is a handsome name. The only negative thing I have to say is that it reminds me of the phrase “smart aleck,” but that’s not a big deal. To me [name_m]Alec[/name_m] is sophisticated, strong, and uncommon yet still familiar.
I think [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] is more consistent stylewise for your family and is stronger sounding than [name_m]Alec[/name_m], but do you want 2 V names? Because of [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] Mortensen, I think the pronunciation is becoming more well-known in the States. My two top choices for you are [name_m]Oscar[/name_m] and [name_m]Conrad[/name_m]. I think these have the strong sounds you’re looking for but maybe some similar sounds to [name_m]Alec[/name_m] for your husband.

I am from the States also and have honestly never heard the name [name_m]Viggo[/name_m] until now. What middle name would you put with it? It’s different, but I’m not opposed. It is my pick of the other option is [name_m]Alec[/name_m]- I’ve never been a fan of this name.
[name_f]Do[/name_f] you have a name picked if this child is a girl?
