We just found out we are having a little girl! Super excited but now the hard part of naming her. We have a son and his name came to me one day and I knew it was absolutely perfect. This time it’s been a little harder. We have a list and while I still love all the names we were considering none of them feels right for our girl. Yesterday my husband suggested [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] be her name. I thought about it and it does seem to feel right but I’m not sure if it’s because I want to just be settled on her name. I like it because it’s short, feminine but not too frilly, and has a bit of a boho feel without being too hippie or unfamiliar. So how do you all feel about [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f]? I know [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] is quite popular but despite knowing many toddlers and little kids I’ve yet to actually know one personally.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] is beautiful! I agree [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] is very girly but not too frilly, and [name_f]Lark[/name_f] gives the name a more care free and fun aspect. [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] is a winner!
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] is very pretty and simple, I really like it. [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] is quite a popular name but [name_f]Lark[/name_f] as the middle, being so unusual, makes it feel a bit different.
I really really like this name.
I like [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] but I have never heard of [name_f]Lark[/name_f] before. It sounds more like a surname to me than a name for a girl. I would probably choose a longer name to go with [name_f]Chloe[/name_f].
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] is very pretty! If you want something longer for the mn, how about
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
This name is gorgeous! Feminine but not excessively frilly, works for both a young girl and a young woman. Congrats on finding an excellent name!
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f]! I love it. It’s feminine but not too frilly, I agree. I really like [name_f]Lark[/name_f] as a middle name.
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] is lovely.
I like that it’s feminine but also spunky.
You’re right that it has a boho relaxed feel, but still a girly side.
I wouldn’t change a thing.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] this name! Good job to your hubby! I too have never known a [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] in real life, so I don’t really think this name is super trendy.
Wow. Well done hubby! [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] is brilliant. I trip a little bit over the L sound in both names, but that may be my accent. In my head I’m trying to say it with an American accent and when I do it this way I don’t think I would have the same problem.
Your husband did very well. [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] is gorgeous.
I like it! Your husband did a good job. [name_f]Chloe[/name_f] [name_f]Lark[/name_f] is simple, feminine, pretty, with just the right amount of sass.
I like it!
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] is the 11th most popular name in the US, as long as you’re okay with that, I think the name is actually great!!! Nothing wrong with a popular name anyway other than others loving it!
Beautiful! Although as imdillas mentioned, I trip a little over the ‘L’ sounds but maybe it just depends on the accent.
Thank you all for the positive feedback. Hubby is very proud of himself!
